Thecompressible Navier-Stokes system (CNS) with density-dependent viscosity coefficientsis considered in multi-dimension, the prototype of the system is the viscousSaint-Venat model for the motion of shallow water. A spherically symmetric weaksolution to the free boundary value problem for CNS with stress free boundary conditionand arbitrarily large data is shown to exist globally in timewith the freeboundary separating fluids and vacuum and propagating at finite speed asparticle path, which is continuous away from the symmetry center. Detailedregularity and Lagrangian structure of this solution have been obtained.
个人简介:
Guozhenhua,professor and doctoral tutor, is currently dean of the School of Mathematics atNorthwestern University and deputy chief editor of Pure Mathematics and AppliedMathematics. The research field involves nonlinear partial differential equations,fluid mechanics equations, etc.. He has published more than 30 academicpapers(SCI) in the top journals in this field. He has completed three projectsof the National Natural Science Foundation(a National Natural ScienceFoundation Youth Fund project, two projects of the National Natural ScienceFoundation), and has also received the Ministry of Education. Research start-upfunding for returning students. Now he presides over one of the key projects ofthe National Natural Science Foundation and one of the projects on the surfaceand one of the doctoral funds of the Ministry of Education. He won the secondprize of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award(2012) andthe second prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology ProgressAward(2014). The main academic part-time jobs include: director of the ChinaMathematical Society, director of the China Institute of Industrial and AppliedMathematics, executive director of the Shaanxi Provincial Mathematical Society,executive director and vice chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Institute ofIndustrial and Applied Mathematics, and commentator of the AmericanMathematical Society.
